A while ago I added some basic lighting to the back of the “headboard” on my bed and recently I decided to replace this with an rgb neopixel strip. The initial idea was to use the lighting colour to enhance the bodys cadian rhythm but I don’t spend enough time in the bedroom for this to be worth while. The system runs from a Teensy 3.1 so I am using the RTC on that to turn the lights on automatically in the morning and change between 3 colours during the day. The PIR which was meant to turn down the light when no one was around was eventually disabled because of false triggering.
