The annual Halloween parade in West Hollywood is the perfect opportunity to show off handmade costumes, and many people go all out. This group changed up their theme each year, and in 1996, they went as characters from Dune. From left to right, they are Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohaiam, Reverend Mother Blatthilda, Paul Atreides, Chani, and Feyd Rautha Harkonnen. I like the variety of characters on display and probably would have freaked out if I had been there to spot the group in person.

That is great! I’m a huge fan of Dune (Especially Lynch’s film version) and I would have made a complete fool of myself if I saw them.
