Google Summer of Code is a global program that offers students stipends to write code for open source projects. BeagleBoard.org has been selected as one of the mentoring organizations for the program, meaning students who wish to contribute to the project have an opportunity to get paid for doing so this summer. Student applications will be accepted March 10-21. More information can be found in this blog post at BeagleBoard.org or the GSoC program home page.
