CNBC has a nice roundup of wearable tech, much of which is on the fashion/lifestyle end of the spectrum (as opposed to fitness monitors). Nice to see some products similar to Adafruit projects in there, like purses that charge your cell phone!
Adafruit Gemma Sequin Starter Pack – This GEMMA parts pack makes it easy to add light to your wearables. It comes with thread, needles, two CR2032 coin cell batteries, a holder for the batteries, a GEMMA sewable microcontroller, and warm white Adafruit LED Sequins. This pack is perfect for adding a little sparkle to any garment or accessory, and is a great way to get started sewing electronics.
