From the Forums: The Portal Lagoon: Projecting Multiple NeoPixel Rings Shaped by Plywood Gobos #neopixels #arduino
Andy Smith/”slurry bowl” shared some more projection overlap effects from his The Portal Lagoon (T.P.L.) on the Adafruit Forums. (We shared some photos previously as well.) He is using bright NeoPixel rings and what appears to be laser cut or milled plywood patterns as lighting gobos to create complex multi-colored projections that transform as he overlaps and interpenetrates the results of each. We look forward to seeing more!
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
