CyPhy Works’ Tethering: Autonomy, Security, and Robustness Differentiates From Drone Herd.
At a recent MIT Enterprise Forum event entitled “How Will Drones and Other Flying Robots Shape Your Everyday Life”, CyPhy Works CEO Helen Greiner described the advantages of tethering for the company’s small, unmanned aerial systems (UAS). For the CyPhy systems, the tether is a thin, wire microfilament that spools out from the bottom of the company’s platforms.
