In the ever changing world of advancements in 3D printing from body parts to clothes and food, there’s one fact that we lose track of, the companies that took a chance on the unknown market and pushed their agenda anyway.
Netherlands-based 3D Hubs, founded in 2013 has reached what they consider to be critical global mass in a market that few knew how to predict and measure. The company has grown from 500 Hubs at launch time last August 2013 to 1,000 3D Hubs in September 2013 and now in June 2014, to more than 5,000 3D Hubs locations around the world in just nine months.
