STL Show & Tell: 5×5 NeoPixel Art Display #3DPrinting #3DThursday
Thingiverse User plasmaton shared this awesome project.
I wanted a blinky thing to wear at a recent art festival. I was also gifted a 25 pixel strand of adafruit’s really cool ws2801 pixels, so I printed a thing, wired it to a teensy, wrote a little arduino code, added a little bluetooth serial module, and plugged it in to a cell phone charging USB battery.
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
