NEW PRODUCT – PiTFT Enclosure for Raspberry Pi Model B
NEW PRODUCT – PiTFT Enclosure for Raspberry Pi Model B: Need a way to protect your Pi while your adorable PiTFT is still connected? Adafruit on the case! Sorry about the pun but we’re really excited about this injection molded design and when we get excited we make puns. This case is perfect for accommodating both the standard PiTFT 2.8″ resistive and our capacitive version. It has a frosted plastic base on the bottom with a black top that’s open enough so your 2.8″ screen can shine through and you can navigate with either your finger or your stylus – depending on what screen you’re using.
The case is elegant and curvy, with a great design by Mike Doell. Just snap the Pi into the bottom for a secure press-fit. There’s a space for all your ports and a slot for your GPIO ribbon cable to flow freely outside. We also include some button extenders that you can snap into the PiTFT to make your set up look extra sleek and official when paired with our tactile switch buttons.
This enclosure is not compatible with the Raspberry Pi Model B+ and does not come with a Raspberry Pi or PiTFT!
