While I often highlight costumes here that feature big sets of armor and look at the work that goes into making them, I don’t always think about the effort that goes into wearing them. Pro Voltage Cosplay spent seven months building a Metal Gear REX costume and wore it to Otakon in Baltimore earlier this month. YouTuber Mike Hecxz spotted Metal Gear REX being put on at the convention center and captured the process on camera. It takes two people to help the cosplayer suit up:
