Making a Gorgeous Legend of Zelda Master Sword


Prop maker Eric Hart recently tackled a big project: making an exact replica of the Master Sword from Legend of Zelda. He started with oak for the blade and crafted the hilt from a separate piece. He clearly spent a lot of time on the hilt because it’s very detailed. He molded it so he can more swords in the future, and cast the hilt directly onto the blade. He discusses the project at his blog, and he created a video overview of the build:
