Chestnut Shelving with Glowing Inlay

GlowingInlay

Mat Brown’s glow-in-the-dark shelving is very chic, but the excellent project documentation over on his blog is even better. So many excellent process shots! To give the inlay that glow, he added some powered pigmentation, of which there are many types available. Rather have your glow to come from electricity? You’d have a challenging time replicating this effect with LEDs, but it could be a fun experiment!

  1. Perhaps you could use LEDs internally in the resin to charge the glow powder.
