Friend of Adafruit and Anamanaguchi bassist James DeVito has made this spinning sun installation as part of Degen‘s New York fashion week beachy presentation.
“The Degen Sun Spinner uses 3D printed ABS fittings to attach large cardboard sun cutouts to the shaft of a 12V motor. Parts were designed in Rhinoceros and printed on a Printrbot Simple Metal with heated bed mod. An Adafruit Motorshield was used to drive the motors and spin them in opposite directions.”
