Who doesn’t want to make a Daft Punk helmet? The project is on the list of many cosplayers I know, and we’ve even created a 3D printed one at Adafruit recently. YouTuber Gerda Schellander of The Bronzing Studio knows it’s a popular project and posted a short but helpful video going through the steps of electroplating the helmets. It’s a fascinating process, and even if you don’t have access to the same materials as the studio, it’s still educational and beneficial.
