A tool for testing surface mount LEDs.
I used the following Digikey Items:
You can of course use your own LED, however the LED I used is oval shaped rather than round; so the hole in the electronics cover is also an oval. I wouldn’t go with this LED again, it’s too bright. Just drill out the hole so its round (or mod the file).
You will also need:
Two #2 size safety pins
Strip (or perf) board
Three CR2032 button cell batteries
A resistor to run the LED you use
And of course wire.
Make sure you wire your on/off LED in parallel with the trim-pot/probe outputs.
