A Few Early Highlights From Google’s Maps Gallery

Last week, Google launched its Maps Gallery. Techcrunch pulled some highlights – check em out!

Previously, individuals and organizations could publicly share their custom maps, but they were pretty difficult to find. This update gives anyone the ability to create maps and share them with the world. People have already started creating and sharing everything from Harry Potter chapters in the U.S. to their favorite Burning Man camp. We thought we’d bring you some of the weirdest, best and most useful maps so far. Feel free to send yours to us.
