At its simplest level CAN (Controller Area Network) can be thought of as a means of linking all of the electronic systems within a car together to allow them to communicate with each other.
The CAN (Controller Area Network) network protocol was developed by Robert Bosch GmbH initially for vehicle systems, but is used in many different fields, the bulk of which are:
- Machine Control
- Medical Equipment and devices
- Factory Automation
- And more….
