For her final project in the Industrial Design Department at Bezalel Academy of Art of Design, Tehila Guy designed and created Anda, an inflatable armchair made of plastic and wooden parts. via DesignBoom:
after observing the world of flat-pack furniture, guy came to understand and was fascinated by the repetitive pattern in terms of material used, assembly methods, and aesthetics. ‘I wanted to design a piece of furniture that is out of the norm in a field that can seem fairly saturated. an armchair was a challenging choice due to the fact it’s barely flat-packed,’ she said.
