Lulzbot releases Flexible Dual Extruder for TAZ 3D Printers #3DThursday #3DPrinting @lulzbot3d
We’re proud to announce our FlexyDually for the LulzBot TAZ 3D printer! The FlexyDually is a very special extruder– it can print in both non-flexible and flexible materials in the same 3D printing session!
The LulzBot Dual Extruder can print in 2 different materials or the same material, in 2 different colors. You can use this technology to make eye-catching prints in contrasting colors or use the various properties of different materials for different parts. For example, you can print in ABS and use HIPS for support material that is easy to remove.
Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
Have an amazing project to share? The Electronics Show and Tell is every Wednesday at 7:30pm ET! To join, head over to YouTube and check out the show’s live chat and our Discord!
