Professor Farnsworth of Futurama is a bit of a mad scientist. Usually in a good way. Cosplaying as the character means makeup and prothestics, and Frank Ippolito created an eerily good realistic take on the cartoon character. He worked with Tested earlier this year to create a Zoidberg costume from the same series, and the Farnsworth build definitely stands up to that one. Ippolito sculpted prosthetics based on a friend of his and cast it from silicone and added makeup. Watch him describe the build process and see him apply the prosthetics to a friend:
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
