…Just thought I would share the Buzzfeed article about the party my friends and I threw for Halloween. We rebuilt Pee-Wee’s Playhouse. Conky ended up having a number of sounds powered by the Audio FX soundboard (including his power up “C-c-c-conky 2000, r-r-r-r-eady to assist you P-p-p-ee-wee!”
I used various information I found on building photo booths with the Raspberry Pi. I ended up using it to power what was Pee-Wee’s video phone but made it a photo booth instead. The photos both posted to a Tumblr site and also saved the images to my local network. The Magic Screen shuffled the images throughout the party for people to see….
