Hi, I’ve been wanting to continue upgrading my Arduino IDE while maintaining support for all the wonderful Adafruit boards I have (Pro Trinket, Trinket, and Flora). It was a pain to figure out how to get them all working in the latest version and then to re-trace those steps when a new version came out. So, I forked the project and baked support directly into the source. Now an upgrade is as simple as merging master and re-building.
Current drawbacks:
Only tested against Mac OS X Yosemite (not Windows or Linux).
Haven’t tested the Gemma or Pro Trinket 3v.
It’s only tracking the java7 branch.
No nightly build process.
I’d love help testing it for other OS’s and boards.
