Guillermo del Toro’s The Book of Life was a visual feast for the eyes. The film explores Mexican folklore and features some wonderful character design – especially in the character of La Muerte. She rules the Land of the Remembered, and she has a stunning costume and makeup. Roxy of RoxyRocksTV was taken with the La Muerte’s look and created her take on the character based on trailers for the film. She does a wonderful job explaining how to achieve all the details of the sugar skull makeup, and she also goes over how she made the costume. Watch:
