Take your Borderlands costume to the next level by adding a Claptrap puppet. The enthusiastic robot is a key NPC in the game, plus he’s rather cute. Bill Doran of Punished Props made his replica of the robot over the summer and took him to DragonCon to be part of a Claptrap army (Claptrap builders are a little like R2-D2 builders!). Doran made his puppet from materials he found at the hardware store, and the project only cost around $75. You see the full material list at his site and watch the above video to see how Claptrap comes together without the help of Hyperion.
