I never get tired of seeing armor and weapons made from Worbla, and cosplayer Anja M., a.k.a. Wonder Workshop Cosplay, used the material for her recent warrior costume. The character is from the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Rohan Online. The patterns on every piece of the armor are detailed; the build requires a high level of craftsmanship and skill. She used Worbla and craft foam for the armor pieces, while the giant sword was made from PVC, Worbla, and the blades are mirrored. The sword is 5 feet and 9 inches, and even though it works for photo, it’s actually too heavy for her to carry when she wears the costume.
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
