WHAT: NYC Resistor / Experimentation Station with Herbert Hoover and Dorie Guthrie
WHEN: January 18th, 10:00 – 7:00 pm
WHERE: UrbanGlass – 647 Fulton St, Floor 3 (Enter on Rockwell Pl.), New York, NY 11217
ABOUT: The first joint class between NYC Resistor and UrbanGlass will explore glass etching with NYC Resistor’s Epilog laser cutter and UrbanGlass’ awesome glass working studio. Harness the power of an Eplilog 35 Watt. This class will teach everything needed to know to make ideas become a reality with laser and glass. In this two-location class, students will be led through all steps, from idea to pressing the “go” button on the laser at NYC Resistor. Students will then take their completed stencil or etched pane to UrbanGlass to add colored glass enamel to the etched pane, or sand blast a laser-cut stencil onto glass.
