The direction indicator will point to the location corresponding to the latitude and longitude coordinates entered below. The distance is based on a logarithmic scale with more variability the closer you are. I held off on permanently marking on the case the specific distances in case I wanted to change the scale. The power button has a blue LED that indicates when it has a GPS fix.

They’re snap together so you can connect as many or as few as you’d like. Each one has two buttons – an up counter and down counter. Once you get to 9 it circles back to zero.
