With all the foam armor builds I’ve featured over the last year, you’re probably aware that craft foam and EVA foam are well suited to the task. That said, I still come across costumes that I can barely believe are made from foam – like these Skyrim draugr costumes by Punished Props. They manipulated EVA foam floor mats to make the armor look like hammered metal. Pretty incredible, huh? They put together this helpful video tutorial to show you how to replicate the effect:
