Extraordinary Tauriel Costume

tauriel costume 1

The character Tauriel is not present in The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, but she was added to the films by Peter Jackson. The director created Tauriel so there would be at least one female character present. Evangeline Lilly played the warrior elf, and this costume by Tina Rybakova looks like stills from the movies. Rybakova does resemble Lilly, but it’s more about the construction of the costume. Everything about the look from the long wig, to the carved bow, to the leather belt looks screen accurate.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
