Installing a survival map in Minecraft Pi #piday #raspberrypi @Raspberry_Pi

From teachwithict via the Raspberry Pi Pod:

Here is a neat little trick for Minecraft Pi: Edition taught to me by my students:

In Minecraft Pi edition, there is a way to load custom maps made for the Pocket Edition (PE) version of Minecraft – including Survival maps! Technically you are still in creative mode (Currently, as of writing this blog, there is no support for survival mode in the Pi edition) however, by installing a survival map, you will get night and day modes, animals, crops and even treasure chests. – See more at: http://teachwithict.weebly.com/computing-blog/minecraft-pi-edition-survival-mode-ish#sthash.S6XeUUDH.sNrbzmqe.dpuf
