A few weeks ago I highlighted the work Andy, also known as Valentine Cosplay, was pouring into his Oberyn Martell costume. The Game of Thrones character was portrayed by Pedro Pascal, and Andy styled his hair and trimmed his beard to match Pascal’s look in the series. He finished the costume for London Super Comic Convention, and it looks incredible. Andy’s hard work got him into the top 10 of the costume competition. He didn’t win, but he learned and said he’ll apply feedback from judges next time.
Regardless of whether he took a prize home, I think he wins for the insane number of hours he poured into this project. He made everything from scratch. You can see the progress of the costume on Facebook.
