flockOMania is a unique art exhibition combining tactile wearables with the art of contemporary dance.
Jewelry artisan Zoe Robertson challenges the traditional thinking around jewelry by creating pieces that not only focus on its aesthetic appearances but also tactile, kinaesthetic, and physical nature of jewelry. Each piece is oversized to emphasize and highlight the interaction between body and jewelry.
Dance artists Dr. Natalie Garrett Brown and Amy Voris worked closely with Zoe to ensure the body flows with the physical jewelry. During the exhibition, the dancers improvise their movements and also invite viewers to participate.
