Alexis Matelin has a great post about how to turn an Arduino-based project into a final prototype. Check it out to learn about moving a project from an Arduino board to a stand-alone AVR microprocessor and custom circuit board. Alexis aggregated information from across the web about designing and manufacturing PCBs (including some advice from Ladyada), creating enclosures, and much more. He even documents the process of creating a prototype ‘MoodCube’ that changes color with NeoPixels using an IR remote. Great work and fantastic advice for anyone that wants to turn a project into a product!
