Jack Ganssle has a great video review of the Saleae Logic Pro 8 logic analyzer. In the review Jack demonstrates some of the interesting features of Saleae’s Logic Pro analyzers like capturing both digital and analog signals. Although a logic analyzer won’t replace an oscilloscope for all analog measurement needs, Jack raises a great point that the Saleae Logic Pro connected to a laptop is an amazingly portable ‘lab’ for embedded development. Be sure to check out the full video and other great videos on embedded development from Jack’s YouTube channel. You can pick up your own Saleae Logic analyzer from the Adafruit store too!
