Rosalina isn’t the most well known female character in the world of Super Mario — that honor goes to Princess Peach — but she’s pretty great. Cosplayer Li Kovacs is working on a costume based on the Rosalina Amiibo and has already made a costume inspired by Rosalina’s look in Mario Kart 8. She even added the decals and proper colors to the bike (even if they’re added digitally, it still had to take time). Li made the race suit from spandex but ended up having to make it twice because she didn’t like the quality of the white fabric. Yes, even experienced cosplayers have to scrap things and start over. The boots were built from a base and covered in fabric. She found or made every part of the costume, styled the wig, and molded and cast the gems for the costume’s crown and brooch.
