Fierce Medusa Cosplay

A member of the Inhumans’s Royal Family, Medusa is regal and seriously powerful. Ash-Sama Cosplay and Designs recently spent about a week (yes, only a week) making a Medusa costume for London Super Comic Convention. She sewed a purple body suit and made the armor accents and headpiece from Worbla. There are straightforward gauntlets, but I’m especially impressed with the intricate, swirling designs of the chest and waist pieces. I haven’t seen Worbla used in quite that way before, but it’s clearly suited for the task. All the Worbla was sealed, painted, and weathered. You can see a couple of progress photos below and more on Facebook.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
