In the Disney movie Tangled, Rapunzel’s long hair glows when she sings a specific set of words. It also heals wounds, restores youth, etc. You can’t replicate those powers, but it is possible to achieve the glowing effect. YouTuber and cosplayer Graziella Pozzo created a replica of Rapunzel’s costume for the recent Florida Supercon and made her giant braided wig light up with 120 LEDs programmed to glow and then twinkle at random.
This video has another look at the costume:
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
