Using a 3D Printed Stamp for Destiny Iron Banner Hunter Armor
The Hunter class seems to be one of the most popular choices for the game Destiny, and there are different armor options available for you to choose for your character within in that class. Gary Sterley is currently working on a set of Iron Banner Hunter Armor for Angela and came up with a great solution for adding details to the shoulder pauldrons:
I was pretty happy with how this turned out so I thought I’d share my little experiment! The iron banner shoulders have some bas relief wolf heads in them. They would be a pain to carve, so I made a stamp on the 3D printer instead. Basically you just heat up your foam, push the stamp hard into the surface, and voila! WOLF HEADS.
Though there’s some effort involved in making the stamp and printing it, going this route will give you more consistency with the design.

Stop breadboarding and soldering – start making immediately! Adafruit’s Circuit Playground is jam-packed with LEDs, sensors, buttons, alligator clip pads and more. Build projects with Circuit Playground in a few minutes with the drag-and-drop MakeCode programming site, learn computer science using the CS Discoveries class on code.org, jump into CircuitPython to learn Python and hardware together, TinyGO, or even use the Arduino IDE. Circuit Playground Express is the newest and best Circuit Playground board, with support for CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. It has a powerful processor, 10 NeoPixels, mini speaker, InfraRed receive and transmit, two buttons, a switch, 14 alligator clip pads, and lots of sensors: capacitive touch, IR proximity, temperature, light, motion and sound. A whole wide world of electronics and coding is waiting for you, and it fits in the palm of your hand.
