Tested brought together two talented propmakers to create a prop replica from District 9 for Comic-Con. Frank Ippolito worked with Bill Doran of Punished Props to make the Alien Assault Rifle and an alien hand from the film. Bill wore the alien hand made by Frank as part of his District 9 costume, and Bill made the rifle. The above video shows off the creation process and what went into making the hand and weapon realistic.
