How To Add a Zipper to EVA Foam

EVA foam zipper enclosure

Let’s make an obvious statement: fabric isn’t the same as EVA foam. However, it is possible to add a zipper closure to EVA foam like you would with fabric. This would come in handy for suits of armor and is an alternative to using Velcro or straps to keep armor pieces secured. There’s no sewing required either — you just need Barge cement. Downen Creative Studios has experience with doing this and shared the above 15 step tutorial detailing the ins and outs on Facebook.
