Ax, also known as Axceleration Cosplay, built a killer Hawkgirl cosplay last year and she filmed a series of helpful YouTube tutorial videos showing how the armor was assembled, painted, weathered — everything. Though now would be a great time to make a Hawkgirl costume since the character is about to make a live action appearance in the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow television series on The CW, the how-tos are helpful if you plan on working with Worbla for any costume. There’s plenty of useful information on shaping the thermoplastic and making it look like battle-damaged armor.
