NEW PRODUCT – Bakelite Universal Perfboard Plates – Pack of 10

Make your next project as you imagine it with prototyping perfboards that can easily be cut with scissors like these Bakelite Universal Perfboard Plates!

We wanted a perfboard that was both customizable and durable and bakelite was the answer. Like most perfboards these plates come on thin (1.2mm) sheets with holes drilled in a grid, each spaced 0.1″ apart. There are some big copper pads (for mechanical connections? We’re not exactly sure) on both ends of the board and each individual hole is ringed with copper on the bottom side.

A perfboard as opposed to our classic perma-protos or breadboards has no default connectivity so you have total freedom with how you’d like to lay-out your circuits. Cut and solder away!

We used our classic Super Scissors in the example.

Comes in a pack of 10 for all your prototyping needs!

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
