It’s not enough that the costumes and skins in League of Legends are creative and striking, the weapons are also impressive. Characters often wield giant swords or clubs — or in the case of Braum, a massive shield. Sandra, also known as Liika Cosplay, tackled a genderswapped version of the character and built the shield from Styrodur. She used varying thicknesses ranging from 3 centimeters to 12 centimeters for all the layers. She added horns from Styrodur as well. Before painting the monster of a shield, she primed the foam with wood glue. Once it was primed and dried, she used acrylic paint, an airbrush, and regular paintbrushes to finish the job. The finished shield is roughly the size of a small wardrobe. You can see in-progress photos below.
