Transistor Sword Replica with Audio and Lighting Effects
Harrison Krix of Volpin Props (previously featured here) made two replicas of Transistor, a giant sword from the game of the same name. One was for Supergiant Games to have on hand at PAX Prime (a gaming convention that just took place), and the other is being prepped for Dragon Con. Krix worked with PixelBash Props to add lighting and audio using products from Adafruit! The above video shows off a test with over 100 NeoPixels and a mic input running on an Arduino Micro.
Keep up with all of Volpin Props’ work on Facebook.
