Sony’s Wena Wrist Smartwatch #WearableWednesday

Sony is using their Japanese crowdfunding site First Flight to launch Wena Wrist, a watch with smart features built into the band. The actual watch face remains classically analog, while NFC, haptic and LED notifications, and activity tracking all happen next to it. This poses an interesting strategy for upgrading later, as an updated band could be replaced at a fraction of the price of the watch.
