We’ve been following Morgan’s armored Poison Ivy costume build for almost three months. Also known as Methyl Ethyl Cosplay, she’s been designing a unique take on the character from DC Comics and finished the ensemble for Alamo City Comic Con last weekend. She used Worbla to beautiful effect to create an armored breastplate, gauntlet, and leg armor and she also crafted a giant vicious plant prop/staff. To finish the pieces, she invested a ton of time painting. In less than a week, she spent 60 hours priming and painting every piece — including hand-painting all the tiny details on the leaves.
