Destiny Iron Banner Hunter Cosplay

Destiny Hunter Cosplay 1

Once you start cosplaying, it’s hard to stop and Gary Sterley has given the cosplay bug to his wife Angela by helping her make the impressive Destiny Hunter costume pictured above. The armor features the Iron Banner design. It features a tree pattern not unlike the White Tree of Gondor from Lord of the Rings. Gary and Angela built the costume from the ground up using foam, fabric, fabric paint, Sintra, and more — we previously highlighted how Gary used a 3D printed stamp to embellish the armor. They’ve been working on the costume on and off since May and really ramped up production before Dragon Con.

The work in progress photos below show off a couple stages of the armor and the knuckle armor. See more photos on Facebook.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
