This Corpse Bride cosplay by Irene, also known as Rei-Doll, is a few years old, but I only recently stumbled across photos and it’s worth highlighting. The costume is absolutely stunning and captures the eerie and otherworldly feel of the character from the Tim Burton film, but these particular photos really set it apart. Rei-Doll, her photographer Kifir, and assistants went into the woods at midnight. Temperatures were around 0 degrees Celsius or about 32 degrees Farenheit so even though the blue skin is all makeup (makeup applied by Rei-Doll, by the way), some of the moodiness in the images is due to cold weather. They shot in complete darkness aside from some flashlights.
