League of Legends Koi Nami Cosplay

Koi Nami cosplay 1

If you’re ever in need of cosplay inspiration, search for photos of League of Legends characters and their many skins. There’s practically an endless number of options and combinations mixing fabrics, armors, furs, mermaid tails — you name it. Néréide Cosplay has crafted more than a few of them, including two skins belonging to the same character. Her take on Nami’s koi skin is especially impressive. Néréide crafted the massive headpiece and weapon, the armor, and the fish tail. Just to make the mold for the tail, she added a few thousand scales by hand (you can see them in a photo below). As you can imagine, it took hours. And that’s just one aspect of the elaborate costume. There are a few in-progress photos below and many more on Facebook.
