Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories, a small business in Sunnyvale California, is hiring a part time shipping and kitting assistant. Primary Responsibilities: – Prepare incoming orders for shipment – Perform light duty assembly tasks as needed. (Most often, this consists of counting out sets of small components.) Note that: – Training will be provided for all required tasks. – Heavy lifting is not required Hours for this position: Monday-Friday: 9 AM – 1 PM Optionally (and better for us): Monday: 9 AM – 5 PM, Thursday-Friday 9 AM – 1 PM We expect our employees to: – Be enthusiastic and reliable – Have great attention to detail – Be able to listen and to follow instructions carefully – Prioritize safety for themselves and fellow employees – Be flexible to work on a variety of different tasks – Ask for help when they need it Other things you should know before applying: – Compensation starts at $15/hour. – In our holiday rush, additional daytime, weekend and evening time slots are often available. – We have a full-time shop cat.
